Laia Coma, from Barcelona, Spain, and a champion swimmer and coach, is running the 2023 Singapore Marathon on December 3, 2023 to increase awareness and research to help people living with fibromyalgia.
Laia has watched her mother suffer with fibromyalgia for over 17 years and now wants to help ensure that the (American) National Fibromyalgia Association has funding to increase their efforts to advance research and help facilitate the development of new treatments for people with FM.
Laia’s efforts will draw attention to the needs of the fibromyalgia community, and help the NFA to build a better future for everyone with FM!
